Who processes your data

The controller of personal data collected through this website is P&P Fasteners Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Sieradz.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer. For all matters concerning personal data, please email biuro@ppfasteners.pl.

Data we collect

Only data you provide yourself and basic technical data required to maintain the website.

• Contact form – full name, email address, phone number, optional company name and message content.
• Direct contact – information you provide by email, phone or Facebook message.
• Technical specifications – IP address, browser type and visit date, recorded automatically in server logs.

We do not collect sensitive data or profile users. No decisions concerning you are made by automated means.

Why and on what legal basis

• Responding to an enquiry and preparing a quotation – Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interest in business correspondence).
• Fulfilling orders, deliveries and tool servicing – Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
• Issuing and retaining accounting documents – Article 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation).
• Website security and proper operation – Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
• Analytics cookies and Facebook and Google Maps embeds – Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent, which you may withdraw at any time).

Providing data is voluntary, but without an email address or phone number we will be unable to answer your enquiry.

How long we keep data

• Correspondence and enquiries – 12 months after the conversation ends, unless a contract is concluded.
• Contract data and accounting documents – 5 years from the end of the tax year in which the tax obligation arose.
• Server logs – up to 12 months.
• Cookie consent – until withdrawn, but no longer than 12 months.

Who receives your data

We do not sell or share personal data for marketing purposes. We use service providers that process data on our behalf:

• dhosting.pl sp. z o.o. – website and email hosting.
• Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. – the news feed from our Facebook profile, loaded only with your consent.
• Google Ireland Ltd. – the directions map and visitor statistics, loaded only with your consent.
• Accounting firm and courier companies – to the extent necessary to settle and deliver an order.

Meta and Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. This is based on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. If you do not consent to embedded content, such transfer will not take place.

Your rights

You may request at any time:

• access to your data and a copy of it,
• rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data,
• erasure or restriction of processing,
• transfer of your data to another controller,
• objection to processing based on our legitimate interest,
• withdrawal of consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Simply email biuro@ppfasteners.pl – we respond within 30 days. If you believe that we process data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office, 2 Stawki Street, 00-193 Warsaw.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser on your device. We use three groups, and everything except the first is loaded only after you click “Accept”.

• Essential – keep the website working and remember your cookie choice. They are always active because the website cannot function without them.
• External embeds – the Facebook feed and Google directions map. They load from Meta and Google servers, which may then store their own cookies.
• Analytics – anonymous visitor statistics (Google Analytics), used only to understand which content is useful.

You may change your choice at any time, even if you previously gave consent.

You may also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some website features, such as the Facebook feed, will then stop displaying.

Policy changes

If we change how data is processed, we will update this page and the date shown above. For material changes, we will ask for your cookie consent again.
